> Add your menu and connect your POS terminal.

Onboarding connects your real business data to Dropp — starting with your menu.

## Onboarding Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add your menu items">
    Go to **Menu** and enter each dish with its name, category, price, portion, and ingredients. You can add a description, discount, and photos per item.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect or activate your Dropp POS terminal">
    Follow the [POS Terminal setup guide](/getting-started/pos-terminal) to activate it — your menu syncs automatically once the terminal is online.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Importing Inventory in Bulk

If you're setting up stock/inventory tracking, you can import items in bulk instead of adding them one at a time. Go to **Inventory**, choose the CSV import option, and download the Dropp inventory template to make sure your data maps correctly on upload.

<Note>
  This bulk import is for inventory items, not menu items — add your menu through the Menu section above.
