# Create and Configure Your Dropp Account

> Sign up for Dropp and set up your business profile — your venue type determines which Dropp workspace you land in.

Setting up your Dropp account is the first step to running your business on Dropp. Signup and business profile happen in a single form — pick your venue type carefully, since it determines which Dropp workspace you land in.

    This choice sets which Dropp workspace you're taken to after signup and can't be changed by re-selecting it later — contact the Dropp team if you signed up under the wrong type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your location and number of locations">
    Choose your city (Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, or Others) and how many locations you operate (1, 2–5, 6–10, 11–25, 25–50, or 50+).

## Invite Your Team

Add staff from your dashboard's Team settings. Access is granted per permission, not by a fixed role tier — a manager account can be given exactly the permissions they need (menu editing, viewing reports, and so on) rather than an all-or-nothing role.

## Next Step

With your account and business profile set up, head to the [Onboarding guide](/getting-started/onboarding) to add your menu and connect your POS terminal.
